In-House Counsel

W4 MANAGEMENT LLC. is hiring a full-time In-House Counsel. 

Job Duties:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on a variety of legal matters, including contracts, U.S. federal and state data privacy laws, risk management, intellectual property, trademark, patent licensing, and other legal issues related to the operations of the company.
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting the ecommerce industry, and provide proactive legal counsel to mitigate legal risks and ensure legal compliance.
• Advise senior management and other teams within the company on legal matters and potential legal risks and develop strategies to address and resolve legal issues.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel, as needed, to handle complex legal matters, litigation, and other legal disputes.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on legal matters and company policies.
• Prepare trademark and patent filings for USPTO, and submit copyright registrations to U.S. Copyright Office.

Job Requirements:

Juris Doctor Degree from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school. Must have Six months experience In House Counsel, Associate Attorney, Attorney, or related position. Must have Legal research skills on various practice areas; Knowledge of patent, copyright, and trademark law; Knowledge of U.S. federal and state data privacy laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
